Active, expressive, child-centered learning experiences are emphasized, and brought to life through our emergent curriculum. At SNVP Pre-School, we focus on holistic development of children, rooted in their own investigations of their environment, and the pursuit of their individual passions maintained. Monthly Themes

Each month our curriculum focuses on a different theme and includes lessons, activities and projects related to that particular theme. Parents are provided monthly newsletters that inform them of all the exciting things their child will be learning about that month

Beyond the Classroom

We feel it is important for children to see that learning can occur outside of their regular classroom. Fieldtrips and other extracurricular activities will compliment a particular theme that is being discussed in the classroom. Our goal is for all fieldtrips and extracurricular activities to be educational and fun

Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum

We have chosen a professionally designed curriculum that has both challenged and stimulated the minds of our young children.

Outdoor Play

We have the privilege of using the big and beautiful school garden for outdoor play. Children have plenty of rooming school campus to run and play and exert all that energy their little bodies build up throughout the day.

Enrichment Classes

SNVP KIDZ offers personality development class, music, dance and art classes that meet twice a week at our center.

Social- Emotional Learning

Education at SNVP KIDZ is balanced, holistic and begins with an understanding that the core of a happy healthy, child begins with social and emotional learning. Young children are nurtured and educated to respect themselves, respect others while developing empathy and kindness in their hearts. Together, we collaborate with parents on this learning adventure while growing a great child.

The Whole Child

Parties and community events offered at SNVP KIDZ enrich the life of each student. From our sizzling hot KIDS CARNIVAL event brings together 200-400 families and friends. More importantly, these events build memories that last a lifetime.

Extra Curriculars

Yoga is good for ages 1 through 101! The practice teaches a child how to focus and breathe, techniques that will support a child throughout his/her lifetime.

Music classes occur three times a week. Did you know that learning to play an instrument can increase IQ by 7.5 points?

gardening is a labor of love and teaches young students the intrinsic rewards of planting, nurturing, and growing. The life cycle is a slow, beautiful, and enriching experience as students eventually harvest their own tomatoes, strawberries cucumbers, figs, and corn.

Dance

Much like sport, dance is great for developing motor skills and learning patience and discipline. Dance is also physically demanding and promotes a healthy and active lifestyle.

Arts and Craft

The creative pursuits offer young children countless ways of developing. ‘Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

Languages

Young children are hardwired to learn languages and develop speech. The benefits include development in self-confidence and communication skills.

Pre-Nursery /Play Group

In Pre-Nursery, Kids are engaged in fun-filled activities which will combine problem-solving activities and communication building. Children are encouraged to corroborate their learning through collaborative activities in the areas of dramatics, science, and arts.

UKG /Montessori-3

The transition from nursery to formal schooling is given more significance in the upper kindergarten. The emphasis is given on learning by combining the playway and formal training methods to help the kids adjust easily to formal schooling methods in the future.
