NEW SESSION START
Every session marks a new beginning. Therefore, the first day, when the children, all feeling rejuvenated, enthusiastic and exited, come to the school in their brand new, crisp uniforms, it becomes a very special day. To make it all the more special, a welcome assembly was organized on fourth April, the first day of the session this year. While the old students were welcomed back, the new ones, looking lost and a little uncomfortable, were extended warm greetings so that they start feeling at home. The principal Mr. Vishal Jain addressed the assembly and greeted everyone to the new session. He congratulated all the students on their promotion to the next class and advised them to take up all their tasks with sincerity and seriousness.

Parent Orientation Programme
Parents and schools are partners in proper and holistic development of a child. A Parent Orientation Programme was organized in school for the parents of new students. The aim of this programme was to help the parents understand the child’s day to day school experience. Parents were introduced to the campus resources and the staff members. Chairman, Mr. Nageen Chand Jain, extended a warm welcome to the parent community of SNVP. Principal Mr. Vishal Jain In his speech, acquainted parents with the ‘Technology Oriented’ and ‘Child Centered’ learning process adopted by the school. He emphasized the fact that the school will provide the best environment and exposure to children to blossom in every field: A glimpse of the technology within the classrooms was presented in the form of smart education practiced in school.
It was a day when the parents interacted with the teachers and planned the new session of the child for the start or continuation of a stimulating journey. Overall, it was a good start for the new session.
Career Counseling Session at SNVP
Well-versed with the fact that students suffer from utter confusion of choosing from the myriad fields available today, Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth, Meerut organized a very unique and exciting career counseling session & APTITUDE TEST for the students of Class 10 & 12 on 1st April, 2012.A wide variety of options in different streams were discussed with students. Importance of choosing the right field and things to be kept in mind were also explained. The workshop was interactive. After the session, students’ queries were answered.
Counselor Mr. Vivek Bhatnager,Gaurav Sharma, Dr. Manglik,Mr, K.C.Tandan came over to share experience with the young generation and to bust the myths attached with the career options. The fields they belonged to ranged from medicine, investment banking and hotel management to mass communication, architecture and the defense services. As experienced professionals, they talked about the entrance exams, job-satisfaction, remuneration, work environment and challenges pertaining to their respective fields of work. They also answered the eager queries of the students and guided them towards their future choices.
All of them emphasized deeply on the need for extreme passion to pursue the chosen path. Moreover, what was common to all the careers was the need for a great deal of dedication and hard work. The professionals also clarified that studying abroad is not as easy as it seems and explained why Indian universities were equally competent. Aware of the contemporary ‘pay-package-oriented’ aspirations, they established that if you toil to be the best in your field, money is bound to follow.
In all, it was an enriching experience for the students.
Kindergarten Graduation day Celebrated at SNVP
It was a gracious moment in our school on March 31st , 2012 when the little kindergarten children were graduated. Mr.Vishal Jain, Principal of SNVP delivered the convocation address and awarded the certificates to the proud graduates of upper Kindergarten. Addressing the parents, he said, “Kids are gifts from God. We should not compare our child with others. It is against the commandment of God. God has a purpose for each child. Education is helping the child to provide an environment so that the child become what the capable of become. Purposes are different for each child. Each one of us should realize that our children come through us, we don’t give them life we only give them birth. God gives life to them. So, a child’s home and school both are the environments for the kids to grow”.
We thank all the parents who believe what we believe and trust us to take care of their children.
Result Announced and Parent Teacher Meeting(PTM -5)
Parent Teacher Meeting was held in the school between 8:00am-12:00noon on 31st March 2012. In which result was Announced and Reflection sheets/results were handed over to the parents who turned up according to their time-slots given prior to the meeting. Discussions about the child’s performance and progress were the main criteria of today’s meeting. The parents unanimously expressed their happiness over the progress of the school and the efforts of the management and the teachers in the all round development of the students.
On the occasion, the Principal Mr. Vishal Jain thanked the parents for their cooperation for the betterment of the school.
First place in International Mathematics Olympiad
Itisha Manglik of class 5-A participated in5th International Mathematics Olympiad securing 1st place in School and made everyone proud
