Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth strongly believes in this thought. That’s why a Cross Country Race is being planned for the students and their parents, keeping in mind the importance of good health. As the first step towards the Cross Country Race, Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth suggests the wards and their parents to go for a jog in the morning hours to maintain a fit body and a peaceful heart which will result in a long and better life.

The suggested distance for the morning jog is as follows:

Classes 1 to 3 – 1 Km

Classes 4 & 5 – 2 Km

Classes 6 to 8 – 3 Km

Classes 9 & 10 – 4 Km

Classes 11 & 12 – 5 Km

This jog in the morning will not only ensure improved learning and understanding power of the students as well as will also improve their stamina.

Therefore, parents are requested to take out little time from their busy schedule to take a morning jog with their children to motivate them towards better health and future.
