Result Announced and Parent Teacher Meeting(PTM -5)

Parent Teacher Meeting was held in the school between 8:00am-12:00noon on 31st March 2012. In which result was Announced and Reflection sheets/results were handed over to the parents who turned up according to their time-slots given prior to the meeting. Discussions about the child’s performance and progress were the main criteria of today’s meeting. The parents unanimously expressed their happiness over the progress of the school and the efforts of the management and the teachers in the all round development of the students.

On the occasion, the Principal Mr. Vishal Jain thanked the parents for their cooperation for the betterment of the school.

Girls International School  of SNVP, Meerut was inaugurated by His Excellency, the Commissioner of Meerut, Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar on March 18, 2012 and undoubtedly it was a memorable day in the history of SNVP.

The function started at 10.00 am with sacred Havan .The Inaugural ceremony commenced at 11:00 a.m. with lighting of lamp. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar officially inaugurated the newly constructed building. The new building has spacious class rooms, science and computers labs, a very large hall and offices.

Followed by short introduction by Director Mr. K.c. Tandon. School children performed before the receptive audience & impressed them with their  Dance performances.

Mr Vishal Jain, while speaking on this occasion said that in the present era of knowledge and information, the physical, intellectual and mental endowments of humans – strength and skills, knowledge, expertise, creativity and innovation would become increasingly crucial. “Mediocrity can not guarantee success, only those who aspire for excellence have a chance to emerge victorious”, he said.

The motto for the school  is “Sarva Gunn Sampann Holistic Development”. The dignitaries enlightened the gathering with their valuable thoughts.

The Hon’ble  Commissioner expressed great appreciation for the commendable performance of the management, staff and the Principal of the School. He said that the wholehearted efforts had contributed to the all round development of the students.The occasion was attended by academicians and students in large numbers.

 

SNVP student selected for International karate Championship

Saurabh Malik of  class  XI    is selected in open  Singapore International karate Championship which will be held  at Singapore in April this year.

Meerut Ratan Award Presenting Ceremony at SNVP

The 31st annual celebration of the All-India Conference of Intellectuals (AICOI) was marked by  Meerut   Chapter Intellectuals conference at Shanti  Niketan Vidyapeeth ,Meerut today.

The conference was conducted to consider intellectuals’ social responsibility and heritage by honouring them with the Meerut  Ratan award for their contribution and achievements.

Justice Shridhar Rao (justice  Karnatka HC),Lt. Genral K.m.Seth (Formar Gor. Chattis Garh), Dr.G.V.G. Krishanamurti (Formar Judge  Delhi H.C)  , Dr. S Farooq , MR.Nageen Chand  Jain ( Chairman SNVP),Mr.Vishal Jain (Principal SNVP) inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. It was followed by  vande matram .

The student  of SNVP sought God’s blessings by performing school prayer .
Lt. Genral K.m.Seth presided over the function while Dr S Farooq addressed the function. SK Garg, CMD, Eldeco (executive chairman AICOI), Dr  RC Dikshit, former DGB (vice-president AICOI) and Mr.Nageen Chand ( Chairman SNVP) were the guests of honor .

The Director, Mr. Vishal  Jain  welcomed the distinguished guests. He said that education had a key role to play in the social transformation of the country. True education should be meaningful and must include material, human and spiritual education.

Prakash Nidhi Sharma of AICOI said the association has been honouring people, from past many years, who have done commendable works in the state.

SNVP celebrates the Festivals of Colours

SNVP has a tradition to celebrate all festivals with students and continuing the  same  tradition and   develops  a   string    bonding   in between   students   and teachers the festival of colours was celebrated in the SNVP premises with a lot of enthusiasm and cheerfulness . The students and  teachers participated in the festival with full zest and fervour. An enticing skit was presented by the students of SNVP to commemorate the devotion of the legendary Prahlad and also the victory of good over evil.

Children played Holi with their peers. All the students played with dry non-toxic skin friendly colour (Gulal). Children hugged each other, and put gulal on each other’s face saying ‘Holi Mubarak!’ Special care was given to kids who are not so fond of colors. The air reverberated with Holi songs. They were treated with delicacies specially prepared for the day – Gujia. The students were really excited while playing Holi as it could be seen in their face and by their moves. The entire campus was enveloped with applause and energy. It was a sparking event, indeed.

At the end the Director  Mr. Vishal Jain gave an eco friendly message to all students to play Holi with dry colors only and not to throw balloons on passerby. He  also explained  about the significance of Holi and the importance of colours in one’s life.
